Can Anyone Figure Out Why De Marcus Cousin’s Is So Angry?

Posted: February 22, 2011 in NBA Basketball

What’s up sports fans? I’m trying to understand what sets De Marcus Cousins off so quickly. He was recently suspended by the Sacrament Kings for what the Kings call a altercation he had with Donte Green. It was the final possession of Sacramento during the Kings v.s. Thunder game on Friday night 02/11/11. The Kings may have had some mis-communication during their last possession. De Marcus was upset because during the game final play Donte Green passed the ball to Tyreke Evans instead of him. You probably can’t argue with his logic, Cousins was closer to the basket, and Evans had to shoot the 3pt. shot, which unfortunately didn’t go in.

You can also appreciate his frustration, but he needs to get his anger under control. His response to Donte Green caused him to lose out on what really matters and that is playing. Geoff Petrie stating that”Violence is not to be tolerated on the court or off the court, and that’s the reason why the Sacramento Kings organization took action.” Cousin’s is not happy with the outcome of that game, but then what hasn’t he been happy with.

He got a surprise ejection in a game against the Dallas Mavericks, he also was fined for making a choke sign against Golden State on Dec. 22 2010 which Golden State went on to beat the Kings that night, On November 13, 2010 he was fined another $5,000 for having a clash with the training staff of Sacramento. This is a guy who continues to find a way to get into it with people. If he can focus on just playing basketball then the Kings will flourish because of it. The last thing he wants is to become the Ron Artest of basketball. Ron Artest oh, that’s another blog. Tell me what you think. Remember folks it’s ALLBAYAREASPORTS.COM. Bay Area Sports Magnified!
