Sharks Capitalize on Washington.

Posted: February 10, 2011 in San Jose Sharks

What’s up sports fans? Couldn’t help but notice the Sharks are winning a lot lately. They’ve gone 8-0-1 in their last nine games. They beat the Washington Capitals last night 2-0. Their winning has blasted them from the No. 11 spot all the way to the No. 4 spot in the Western Conference. Tonight they play the Columbus Blue Jackets, a team that is in 4th place in the Central division and they just beat the Pittsburgh Penguins and moved into the final 8th playoff spot in their division. Antti Niemi has had back to back shut outs. The team is been lead by leading scorer Logan Couture, who has been tenacious at shooting the puck.

Let’s be honest, to mention the Sharks you have to talk about Danny Boyle.  He been an example to new Shark players. You can tell he lives his mantra, “Attack The Net!” The response of their win streak has been mixed by the Sharks fan base. Some shark fans are enjoying it, others think this isn’t new. Some have stated the sharks do this every season where they do either one or the other. Come out the gate at the beginning of the season only to trail off and eventually lose in the playoffs. Some say the Sharks can also start off terrible like they did this season have a great season up until the playoffs, only to lose in the dreaded Western Conference Semi’s or division title match. What do you think? Drop me a line and give me your thoughts. Remember folks it’s ALLBAYAREASPORTS.COM. Bay Area Sports Magnified!
